|
No more than 10" of fish per 100 gallons of water

Each inch of fish should have 6 in² to 1 ft² of water
2" fish = 1 ft²
4" fish = 2 ft²
6" fish = 3 ft²

| Fish Feeding Formula |
|
Reduce feeding fish when the water temperature is 42°F to 65°
|
Do not feed fish when temperature is lower than 42°F.
|

| Size of Pump |
|
Example: A pond with 565 gallons would require a pump of 565 gal/hr. if
the amount of head or height the water must be pushed is close to zero. For pumps
that must push water at greater heights, they must be oversized to compensate for the loss
of flow due to the height.
